The COS-7D differs from the COS-11D in that it has a flatter and wider frequency response, making it suitable for both music and voice recording in broadcast, live and production environments.

This 2-channel omni-directional microphone system is designed for a variety of applications, including on-air redundancy, plant mic, limited stereo recording and for potential noise canceling through phase-reversal techniques. Without sacrificing the sound quality of the industry standard COS-11D, this package is only 1.25″ in length.
